Ahead of Matariki, we are taking a moment to celebrate all of the mahi Māori-owned food and beverage businesses put in to produce world-class kai. We first launched our Kai Māori Gift Box to acknowledge Aotearoa’s first public holiday to celebrate Matariki in 2022.
Our amazing whānau of suppliers represented in these gift boxes work to create some of the tastiest local goodies. This box directly supports small Māori owned businesses, plus 1% from the sale of each box is donated to charities such as Ngā Rangatahi Toa or Sustainable Coastlines!
And with your help, we have returned $30k to these Māori-owned businesses since launching the box last year. Thanks so much! 🤩
